Loris’s highly individual art reflects her observation of and intense reaction to the rich diversity of the Australian landscape. She displays a response to the natural world that is both intriguing and intrigued.

Loris's most recent works are of subtle, delicate and ambiguous assemblages of found natural objects and striking oil-on-canvas paintings that vibrate colour.

In September 2010, Loris had a successful exhibition at London’s prestigious Menier Gallery. Loris has participated in several Artist in Residence programs including Jenolan Caves and more recently Cudgegong Regional Gallery in the Central West NSW township of Gulgong. In September 2011, returned to Gulgong to exhibit work based on her time as Artist in Residence. In 2012 Loris will be travelling to Iceland where she will be participating in an Artist in Residence program at Gullkistan in the village of Laugarvatn.

In 2008 Loris won the People's Choice prize at the “LikeArt” exhibition and, in 2007, she received the Directors Choice Award at the inaugural Marrickville Contemporary Art Prize.

Loris’s commissioned works and works purchased at exhibition appear in public and private collections in Australia and overseas.
