“I'm intrigued by the shape & colour of suburbs, buildings, houses and trees, hills and mountains. And jewels, cut gemstones. And wrappers. Eyes are overstimulated really by everything. I work largely with repurposed findings, & I mostly collage wrappers & fabric sewn onto card or canvas. I don't buy many art materials - if I use paint it's sparingly, unless I'm painting a mural, then I use lots!
I am productive but it always seems I have little to show, and much to stow. In my studio it is all motion & exploration, a constant curation, and potentially, some day soon I will pin down a practice.”
